780nm In-Line Adjustable Fiber Attenuator with Single-mode Fiber
Adjustable optical attenuators allow the user to manually change the attenuation of fiber optic signals as they are transmitted through the device. These VOAs can be used to precisely balance signal strengths in fiber optic circuits, or to balance optical signals when evaluating the dynamic range of a measurement system. The Miniaturized Manually Adjustable Attenuator (MVOA) is available for single mode (SM) and polarization maintaining (PM) optical fiber, suitable for the wavelength range of 780, 850, 980, 1064, 1310, 14801550, 1560, 1950 and 2000nm and through Operate by manually moving the blocking element into the light path. Adjustable optical attenuators are used for power adjustment in optical modules, systems and test platforms. The MVOA operates by controlled movement of blocking elements to precisely adjust power to any desired level.
