Distributed Raman Fiber Amplifier 300mW Pumped Laser RFA
Silica fiber Raman amplifiers use the Raman scattering effect to provide gain to optical signals. The 14xxnm wavelength laser is used as the Raman pump to provide gain for the C-band signal light. This effectively compensates for the attenuation of the optical signal during long-distance transmission of the optical fiber.
