The FLS-600 light source brings optimal versatility. Laser or LED models and various wavelength options are available. A list of “favorite” wavelengths can be customized for faster testing.

AUTOMATED TESTING = ERROR‑FREE TESTING
In combination with the FLS-600 light source in auto-switching mode, the power meter automatically recognizes the wavelength in use and switches to the proper calibration parameter. Results for all wavelengths can be stored at once, by pressing one button.

Distant reference:
Using signal encryption, the receiving end is able to obtain information about the power used as a reference, helping to ensure that the reference baseline is determined efficiently, even if the two devices are very far apart.

Available for FTTx:
EXFO’s FLS-600 can test passive optical networks (PON) at three wavelengths: 1310 m, 1490 m and 1550 m. This wavelength is the wavelength recommended for PON by 1TUT G.983.3).

Durable and versatile:
Like all of EXFO’s portable meters, the LS-600 is designed for rugged quality and is ideal for use in very demanding testing conditions. In addition, it is equipped with keyboard/CD backlight, making it easy to operate in dark environments.
