This mercury-argon lamp is a compact, low-cost HG-1 mercury-argon calibration light source that is used for wavelength calibration of the UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy system. HG-1 produces a spectral range of 253-1700nm ultraviolet-visible band, which is used for fast and reliable wavelength correction. Printed easily identifiable mercury and argon transmission line on the housing.
