PM Fiber Splitter 1310/1550nm Panda Polarization Beam Splitter/Combiner 1X2 PBS/PBC
Fiber-based polarization beam combiners (PBC) or polarization beam splitters (PBS) are used to couple two orthogonally polarized light beams into one optical fiber, or to separate the orthogonal linearly polarized light contained in one optical fiber. Coupled into two fiber optic outputs. In this device, one side of the calcite prism has two polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber branches, and the other side is a single-mode SM (single-mode) fiber or polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber. In both polarization-maintaining fibers, the slow axis of the fiber is aligned with the direction of maximum transmission for one polarization state.
